A long day of walking and biking in Rio. We’ve been drinking coconut juices like there is no tomorrow. It’s available everywhere for cheap! It’s very good for hydration and high in potassium.
Chest this morning. I am the living proof that being healthy has changed my life completely. I often joke about McDonald’s being the devil, but the truth is that I was addicted to it.
I used to eat it for lunch on a regular basis at work. I have thrown up so many times after and felt like I was trapped in a 50 year old body in my early 20’s. Yet… I always went back. Why? Because it was an addiction to eat fast food.
To become healthy again can be extremely challenging physically and emotionally. It is very important to have a strong and effective support system that can help you during your struggles.

She just made these healthy blueberry buckwheat muffins… I can’t even eat regular muffins anymore. Once you’re used to eat healthy, it’s very hard to eat unhealthy again. It’s just the transition that’s hard to do!
14K Run this morning. The hardest challenge about running is to not quit once pain kicks in. There are no shortcuts. If you want to be able to run 5K & up, you have to pay your dues. #nevergiveup
